Part-time (20 hours per week, flexible)
MAIN ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The position requires the performance of various duties dictated by Verdability management. The main tasks of the position include but are not limited to:
1. Search and identify relevant business opportunities for Verdability on development and green economy industries websites;
2. Score opportunities according to the company opportunities scoring matrix.
3. Assist in the preparation of expression of interests and proposals
4. Build relationships with professionals to expand the Verdability network of contacts for research and contract purposes
5. Provide support to Verdability research activities by collecting and processing information (build data-bases, produce charts and graphs, prepare information briefs, etc.);
6. Provide support to Verdability coordination activities (source contacts, organise meetings, confirm attendance, follow up with clients and funders, etc.);
7. Support the production of information and communication materials such as reports, presentations, capability statements, etc.; and
8. Provide occasional logistical support such as collecting or delivering documents, organize travel arrangements, etc.
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS:
1. Results-driven– based on success rates for proposals;
2. Completion of assigned tasks within the required timeframe; and
3. 360º degree performance feedback from team colleagues and supervisors.
REPORTS TO:
Project Manager
REQUESTED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline;
2. Excellent communication skills in English and ideally in another business language (French, Arabic or Portuguese);
3. Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate client requirements;
4. Working knowledge of Office applications;
5. Self-starter capable of working with little supervision from home or from office
REMUNERATION:
1. Salary based on experience
2. Bonuses based on the success rate of proposals
